H,w #2

1. Identify:
Civil war:
Its the conflict between groups within the same country, followed their deaths.
triumvirate: Its a group of three leaders.
Julius Caesar: He brought order to Rome.
Absolute ruler: Its the one who has total power.
Augustus: He is the exalted one.
Pax romana: Its Roman peace.
Gladiators: They are professional fighters.

2. Changes during the pax romana:
Its population numbered between 60 and 80 million people.
About 1 million people lived in the city of Rome itself.
Agriculture was the most important industry in the empire.

3. I think a negative change would be if there was no more space for agriculture, since they depend on it so much.

4. The role that Julius Caesar played on the decline of the republic and the rise of the empire is that he brought order to Rome and he made many changes.

Hmm, one thing I'm interested is about how Julius Caesar became to be the one with the most power and how he made all this changes.

H.W # 1

The videos that i watched  was about a person telling about the Persian war.  The war was against the Athenians and the Greeks. It said that the Athenians won because the Greeks were outnumbered and the Athenians were more stronger and powerful. This war took place on sea by the way.
